However times change and NALC&#8217;s constitution reflected a way of working that is diffuclt to sustain. When Macmillan stopped supporting NALC it became inevitable that paid staff could not be sustained.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Covid made it difficult to meet other than online and the number of volunteers fell.
